At four years old, Adelynn’s love for film began with The Sound of Music. Her mother, juggling a household of seven children, relied on the VHS player to keep everyone out of her hair. That machine opened up Adelynn’s entire world.

 

Flash forward to adulthood, she found herself working in a toxic workplace, deteriorating her mental health and sense of identity. When she finally quit, she returned to a simple but essential question: "what truly made me, me?" She grew up in a family band, and it was there she felt her greatest confidence. Determined to reconnect with that part of herself, she enrolled in a Musical Theatre program at LA Songwriting School. Each week, she wrote a new song and by the end of the program, she had 21 songs for an animated musical. What a beautiful thought: her nieces, nephews, and future children singing along to a comfort film they can turn to whenever they felt lost, just as she once was.

 

One problem: she didn't know how to make it a film. So how?

 

Suddenly, everything aligned. She discovered that one of the best film schools in the country was just ten minutes from her apartment and the rest was history.

 

Before, she struggled to make decisions and feared telling people what to do. Now, after writing and directing her first films, she found her own power.
Her mission: bring back the magic of childhood movies... for the next generation.
